Halloween Party

 
Two weeks ago, I was invited to a small Halloween Party at my friends place. It was really tense day and I wasn't prepared at all, so I've got a bit different make up, wore my USA skirt from Lazy Oaf and became Miss America.

Kriste was Wednesday from Adam's Family and Vincas..Actually, I didn't ask him who he was.

Unfortunately, I was too tired to take any pictures, but it was first time in my life when I celebrated Halloween. I find it really strange celebration, but this time I really liked it, especially dressing up somehow differently.

Frenchy birthday party

Around a week ago, after really busy assignments month, I totally forgot about the uni at least for a 4 months... That day me & Elena went to celebrate to the "Holborn House" for our French girl birthday celebration. It was a great party but after it I just wanted to cut my legs off because of the heels..

Cherry blossom

Sadly, London isn't that warm and sunny as it was few weeks ago. Instead, now we have rain and cloudy sky everyday and I have got flu.

5 things about Friday

5. One of my favourite days in a week not just because it is friday but as well I'm always off, so I can enjoy all day just for myself.

4. Cleaning the house day (it shouldn't sound really bad. I love re-checking old magazines, books, pictures, lost concert tickets and maybe doing some decorating in my room).

3. Dreaming about BBQ in our terrace, but according to the London's weather I can really just dream about it.

2. Jogging and doing aerobics. At this moment I'm trying to improve my unhealthy London lifestyle to healthy one.

Devendra "Mala"

Devendra just released his new album. I knew it will be good, but I didn't expected it will be so good. It is something very simple but heartbreaking. I believe that it is very big influence of his new (maybe not so new) wife.

My Big Journey

I don't want to talk about it too early but after 1 year I have plans to take rest from London and go to Bogota, Colombia for one month. It even doesn't fit in my head. In one way I feel that it is like a dream but in other way I have so many thoughts what Bogota is like, how much money I will need, what I will be doing whole month there and so many other questions in my head. Otherwise, the biggest question is what I'm going to with my life after this journey. Am I going back to London? Or am I going home to Vilnius? Or should I consider going to other country and try something. I've never thought it will be so hard for me to decide what I want. What I want is to keep writing and I need a job like this. I feel so hopeless at this moment about all future thing. Ahh.

Though I don't like posting any pictures from the internet, but I like this one because of migration theme. 

6 Things Why I Love London

London isn't that place where I wish to spend my whole life but there are some very nice things which still keeps me here.

6.Small coffee shops and bars. I would go there even alone (and usually I don't go anywhere alone)
5.Markets. There are a lot of different and very nice markets. Never been in Colombian Flower Market but I heard that it is amazing.

4.Weather. Though this year is extremely cold or rainy, I like here because weather is almost the same whole year. Neither too cold in winter, nor too hot in summer time.
3.Gigs. I have found many many wonderful underground bands in here. Indie genre goes perfectly with British bands.
2.Traveling. It is really cheap to travel from London. I even went to Paris for 4 pounds ( with bus, but who cares?!)

1.People. I met so many people from different countries... Slightly I met people from the whole world and then you realise that, it is so amazing. As well you always have opportunity to visit them. Next year it will be my first journey to another continent.

After all, I love London for very small things like river next to my house, sunny evenings, V&A museum near my work, very long walks, underground( I'm afraid of going with it when it's busy, but when I'm out of town I really miss it), skyscrapers view every day, cheap cinema for students in the Notting Hill & all in all I love, love British accent, if I ever going to leave the country I will miss it a lot.

Obsessed With Music

In less than two months I'm going to Oslo, Norway to see Beyonce. It's something what I still cannot believe... And in the summer time there is another trip waiting for me- Open'er Music Festival, Poland.

I remember those times, almost 4 years ago, when I was going to the music festivals in Lithuania as a accredited journalist and it was like a golden times for me and I think it's still the best times yet. I met a lot of incredible music artists and you cannot imagine feeling when you're standing behind the hedge. I believe that professional journalists and photographers doesn't have that amazing feeling but for me it was something incredible. You're so near and you feel very small connection between the artist and yourself... and I used to spend all the gig behind the hedge just swinging to the beat or pretending that I'm still taking pictures. 

Even after 4 years I still want to write about music or at least to work with music industry.

It's hard to explain my relationship with music. It even hurts my heart when I listen to it.

Alt-J. My 2013 music discovery. I will see them in the Open'er this year. I think I will cry like last year during the XX.

Keeping a diary

Sometimes I’m wondering, who’s reading my blog? Even if I’m posting very, very rarely… I see from the statistics that somebody is still reading it. Usually I feel very uncomfortable when I’m writing because I think that maybe I will reveal too much but I realised how much I missed writing. My decision is too write something at least once a week, to develop myself and of course keep this blog as a real diary. Public diary.
